About
Hi! I'm Andrea.
In the fall of 2021, I moved from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where I co-managed a successful ecological gardening company. We installed many different styles of gardens for our clients including raised vegetable beds, lawn-to-garden native pollinator habitats, rain gardens, and many others! My favorite projects were always those that met at the intersection of supporting wellness for both humans and pollinators - some for everyone! I’ve decided to bring my passion for those projects with me to my new home here in Colorado!
Here, in Fort Collins, I am focusing on homestead-style gardening! This includes installing and consulting on your garden projects, growing many of my favorite native and post-colonial species for both cut flowers and specialty edible and medicinal products, as well as providing plant starts for your own projects!
Finally, a little bit about me! I love to camp, hike, forage, attempt to create pottery, and spend time in the kitchen cooking and baking, especially with the plants that I grow! My journey with food and health actually started in an unhealthy place - obsessing over calories and ingredients. It has taken over a decade, but with every step I take closer to the soil I feel more happy and purposeful.
